Juicing Camp

Camping...

That is something I haven't done since SECONDARY SCHOOL and the last time I camped was probably about 15 years ago...

Keen to upgrade myself and do my part for charity, I took part in a Juicing camp organized by Kampong Senang, a charity organization held at Guangming Shan Temple.

While I am seasoned in detox and am no stranger to the juicing therapy, the sound of 5 days away from home, away from my family was by no means fun.

It did not help that I was alone there.

Also, we were required to give up creature comforts of city life like TV, Handphones, etc. Nights out by 10pm is something I haven't practised in a while even though I know it is THE healthy thing to do.

In the end, though, I discovered that it was alot of fun! I really learnt alot.. eg, I learnt about:
- The benefits of juicing and detoxing
- The benefits of sprouting
- How to make healthy salads and salad creams
- How to wash your face and bath using natural cooking ingredients like green bean powder, sea salt, wheatgrass and charcoal
- How to get rid of anethestia remains in your body and how to remove harmful residues of radiation from your body
- How to grow sprouts and why they are important to you
- The importance of GOOD WATER for your health
- Some helpful exercises to lose weight and feel good
- How to detox via gurgling and skin brushing
- What chemicals are used to make soft drinks like COKE and how harmful they are to our health
- The benefits of eating more vegetables and fruits
- How to combine your foods to ensure maximum health
- How to lose your tummy with some simple yoga exercises
- How to heal your life by becoming humourous

While most of the other 100 attendees were not familiar with detox and are first timers, they all gave a thumbs up sign at the end of the camp as they really felt more energetic. Many of them were lighter and prettier by the end of 5 days.

I lost 4kg within 5 days and I think I got even more shapely than before! My skin was also more radiant and I was of course more HAPPY as well... Hahaha... cool...

Some of them who are inflicted with medical conditions also got better by the 5th day.

The good news is... now, I think I am inspired to start my own juicing/detox camp ;) Watch this space for more info... and if you are keen to find out more, drop me a mail at verityy@yahoo.com so that we can inform you when our plans are firmed up.

In the case you are interested in how I lost 4kg within 5 days, you can email me at verityy@yahoo.com for a detox consultation ;)

Have You Ever Taken A Picture Of Your Eyes?

As the saying goes, the eyes are the window to our heart.

But did you know that the eyes are also the window to our HEALTH as well?

Iridology is the holistic science of looking at the condition of your health by taking a picture of your iris.

As all the nerves and veins running through our body end right at our eyes, we are able to see the condition of our health by just looking at our iris.

Iridology has been around for a few hundred years and recently made more popular by Dr Bernard Jensen, father of holistic health.

In addition, iridology has also made its way from Europe to US to Asia.. where doctors in Japan and Korea are required to study iridology for a year before they are given the license to practice as medical doctors.

Now, you can acquire even better health and say good bye to your doctor, medication and pain in 3 simple steps:

1) Starting from now, you can buy an Iris Scan ticket from me at $10 (A session like this will cost you $80-$150 outside.) and call to book your appointment with our Iris Analyst.

2) Using some high tech equipment, the Iris Analyst take a picture of your iris and our consultant will help you decipher the meaning behind your picture by giving you an overview of your current health condition. You will be given a picture of your iris and an analysis report to keep.

From the analysis, you will find out :
- what areas of the body are not functioning at optimum level
- what may be some of the possible health issues you may face in future
- what are the solutions to overcome these issues
- what are some suggested lifestyle habits to acquire for better health
- how to take good care to ensure you have higher energy and slimmer, fitter body

3) Follow the suggestions and start enjoying better health and a slimmer body!

And that's it.

And the rest is up to you.

So what do you think? ;)

If you are keen, you can book a ticket:

lStress Is A Disease

Stress is a disease that can be partially cured.

Here are a few thoughts that may help you live more in peace with yourself.

1. They say that 'primordial stress' is related to our unspoken fear of dying, of the end of life. But is it really dying that we are afraid of? No, because we don't know what dying really is. With the end of our existence also comes the end of consciousness and sensation, and so how can we know anything of dying?

2. Stress is generated by a fear of not being perfect. So, you believe you are perfect, do you? Well, you should know that you have never been perfect, because your lack of modesty allowed you to think that you were. And there can be no perfection where there is a lack!

3. Stress comes from being afraid that you can't get everything done on time. Time, like space, is an extendable dimension. It is one of those rare commodities that can be bestowed almost without limit. Remember that nothing grand or beautiful was ever accomplished in a day.
4. Stress comes from fearing that you do not correspond to the self image you want to project. The eye does not see the object itself, but the image of the object. You too are just a reflection in other people's eyes. They will never see you as you really are, no matter how hard they try. So why worry?

5. Stress arises when you don't know how to say no. You do know how to say no. Do you need proof? Well, the fact that you are alive and reading these lines means that you have succeeded in saying no many times, both with your body and with your mind. That's because living means refusing to die, day after day. (

You can start lowering your stress level starting today. All you have to do is choose your priorities!
